Understanding the biology of peak performance
At DP World’s Aviv Clinics Dubai, we treat aging and the associated decline in mental and physical performance as a disease that can be treated. We’ve created a medical treatment – the first of its kind – that can reverse some of the effects of aging by triggering the body’s natural process of regeneration with a unique combination of hyperbaric oxygen treatments, physical conditioning and cognitive training.

Proven methods backed by over a decade of research
The Aviv Medical Program was developed by the Aviv team and Dr. Shai Efrati, Director of the Sagol Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Research at the Shamir Medical Center. Over 200,000 hyperbaric sessions have been conducted there to date.
Dr. Efrati is the world’s foremost expert on hyperbaric medicine and has treated over 2,000 clients with the Aviv protocol. The vast majority have seen a marked improvement in their brain and body performance after treatment.
Oxygen in the spotlight
The world is waking up to the importance of oxygen medicine for healthy aging. In 2019, three researchers were awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine for their research into how living cells sense and react to changes in oxygen levels.
Dr. Efrati has spent the last 15 years studying the power of oxygen to heal and rejuvenate the body. His groundbreaking work, which leverages the Nobel prize winning discovery, shows that fluctuating oxygen levels in the body can activate the body’s own regeneration mechanisms, helping us reach our peak and stay there – happy, healthy, and active.

and Head of Research Dr. Hadanny is a certified neurosurgeon, hyperbaric physician, and Chief Medical Research Officer at the Sagol Center. For the past decade, he has worked alongside Dr Efrati researching neurorehabilitation, neuroplasticity and physiology, publishing more than 25 papers on the effects of HBOT on cognitive and physical performance. Before joining the Sagol Center, Dr. Hadanny was Chief Resident in the Galil Medical Center neurosurgery department. He earned his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Machine Learning from Bar Ilan University.
