The Aviv Medical Program is backed by extensive clinical research. The most recent study confirmed that the COVID-19 virus can cause chronic brain injury affecting regions of the brain responsible for cognitive function, mental status and pain interpretation.

In the published study, patients treated with the Aviv protocol had significant improvement in their global cognitive function and cognitive improvement in the damaged brain regions responsible for attention and executive function.

Significant improvement was also demonstrated in the energy domain, sleep, psychiatric symptoms and pain interference.  The beneficial effects of the unique treatment protocol can be attributed to neuroplasticity and increased brain perfusion in regions associated with cognitive and emotional roles.

    1. In-depth Medical Assessment

We identify and diagnose long-COVID using comprehensive testing and advanced brain imaging, including MRI, to examine the brain damage caused by the COVID infection. Our expert clinical team uses physical, cognitive, and neurological tests to further diagnose long-COVID and assess your suitability for treatment. We then review your extensive results with you and discuss if the program is a fit.

    2. Tailored Treatment Program

The results of your testing are used to develop a personalized, comprehensive treatment plan to address your long-COVID symptoms. Treatment can include a combination of cognitive and physical training, dietary coaching, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) sessions.

    3. Post-treatment assessment

At the end of your treatment cycle, we’ll conduct a second round of testing as a comparison and provide you with a detailed report of our findings, including any cognitive and physical improvements you experienced during the program.
